El ARNADÍ es un dulce típico de Xativa y las poblaciones de La Costera.
Se consume principalmente en Semana Santa.Es de origen árabe,y según cuentan, de los más antiguos que se conocen en España.

INGREDIENTES
Para 4 cazuelitas pequeñas
- 1 kg de calabaza asada
- ¼ de azúcar
- 4 yemas
- 200 gr. de almendra molida
- 1 corteza de limón rallada
- Almendras fileteadas para decorar
- Canela. (A gusto)
PREPARACION
Una vez asada la calabaza se recoge la pulpa, eliminando los filamentos
Y se deja escurrir toda la noche para que suelte toda su agua.Se mezcla la calabaza con el azúcar y las yemas batidas.
Se cuece durante 15/20 min, removiendo sin parar.Retiramos del fuego incorporamos las almendras molidas, la ralladura del limón y la canela.
En cazuelitas de barro formamos unos conos con la masa conseguida,y decoramos.Con las almendras fileteadas. Dejamos en el horno a temperatura suave unos 20 min. hasta que esté dorada.
